Bought this because my PSU didn't have the 8-pin power cable that my new PCI Express graphics card required. Very simple to install (just plug one end into the PSU and the other into the PCI Express card) and (as with most Startech items) it came in a little bag that wasn't wasteful on packaging. It's about 15cm long so it's probably going to be long enough for the average ATX chassis without leaving lots of trailing cable everywhere.

Cheaper than the others and performs just as well, I'm happy. :)

(just as a side note, this is for PCI express cards, it will NOT work as a 6pin-8pin motherboard power cable adapter, it may have the right number of pins but they're the wrong shape for the motherboard power input, in case you were looking at this as a much cheaper alternative to motherboard power adapter cables, it doesn't work for that)
