Hi All,

I decided to post after installing onto a second iPad one of these great value screen protectors.

First let me state that you need to take great deal of care when applying any screen protector. In the case of the iPad extra care is required due to the size of the screen over conventional mobile devices (like smart phones).

The best time to apply a screen protector to your device is immediately after you have removed all packaging and before switching on your device. Failing that, you need to spend considerable time removing dust particles and finger marks.

I found the best place to install was the kitchen - try to use an open, carpet-free environment if possible. When applying, be sure to peel back two inches of the protective film with tag '1' and align to the home button side first. This helps in both alignment and prevention of bubbles. The key to success is to apply a gentle downward pressure to the screen protector as you place it, peeling back two inches of the protective fim as you go along. See YouTube 'iPad Anti-Glare Installation (Power Support USA)' for a very good tutorial.

Incidently, I have tried the Power Support Crystal, but prefer the Belkin as it seems to maintain slightly darker blacks and therefore better contrast, although you may notice a moire effect under certain lighting conditions when the unit is off. In use, however, this is not noticeable. Oh yeah, a fingerprint magnet, but worth the hassle for the clarity and price.

Comes with a nice lint-free dust cloth to prepare your iPad screen and card to help push out bubbles.
