The graphics are fab, I'm really happy with it, it's so much faster then my old laptop. As the title suggests for those touch typists out there it has a minor design drawback in that when you place the part of your hand thats between your palms and wrist in front of the keys in order to correctly position your index fingers on the f and j, that area on my right hand rests right on top of the mouse pad. This causes the mouse pad to light up all around the edge in a gorgeous blue colour. When typing, I have on so many occasions with out realising applied a bit too much pressure to it,when all of a sudden and out of the blue, the page starts to rapidly scroll. It can be a bit of a pain to have to keep finding where you were.
My husband doesnt seem to think that my annoyance is a relevant issue! He suggested, should scrolling pages remain as a persisitant annoyance, he'll simply disable the mouse pad.
Having said all of that, I'm quite amazed that such basic practicalities weren't taken into account during the design process. I suppose the majority of users won't be able to touch type, therefore it won't be an issue. That's why I gave it an overall 5 stars. I should've rated it 4 stars on behalf of touch typists! How could clever Samsung people be so ignorant? This is a basic requirement. I can't believe that Samsung aren't aware of their over sight.
