    Have used quite a few of these, seem pretty good. As mentioned by other reviewers they do have a note regarding the possible need for a firmware upgrade (to get the 16x recording speed) with some recorders, but this will apply to all brands of 16x disks. Have burnt plenty of these in a Sony DVD-RW drive with no problems, but have never tried them in a standalone DVD recorder.
