I purchased this printer to replace a 6 year old Epson Stylus P2000. Although the B1100 has a slightly larger footprint, it is very good value - less than half the price of a direct replacement. It is comparatively fast and I am pleased with it.

Was a bit concerned when ordering this printer, being a new model, I could find only one review, so I thought I would share my experiences so far.
I have only had the printer a few days, but so far I am very pleased. It is a replacement for an Epson 1290, to be used for printing mainly A3 drawings, and some photos and documents. The print speed is incredibly fast compared to my previous printers. In fine mode it produces very clear and detailed black-and-white drawings on plain paper at an impressive speed. No visible feathering of the ink. Photo quality takes longer, but they seem to be very good quality prints. I have not yet tried photo paper in it. The print outs are practically waterproof as well!
Overall I am impressed, a good choice, I hope nothing goes wrong.
