I have always been envious of people who have ethernet connections from their modems to their computers. I have always had wireless and although it does work it was far to slow. I have the top package on BT and on a wireless connection there is no point as it is just as fast as their lowest!

I bought these plugs not really expecting much but after using them for an hour now I can say they are brilliant. Set up involved removing them from a box and plugging them into the wall and then the device you want to connect them to.

I have 3 of these units, 1 sits beside the modem/router, 1 is plugged in behind my TV attached to my Apple TV (Apple TV owners using wireless, you have to get these, I can rent a movie and start watching in under a minute!) & the other is upstairs connected to my main computer.

I have seen a remarkable improvement in speed both in loading and downloading. Steaming media such as Youtube or Quicktime movie trailers are now lightning fast.

If you want a simple solution to add ethernet networking to your house then these are the answer.

I will still be using wireless for things like xbox live and internet access on my laptop, but knowing that I have a choice now makes me feel a whole lot better.

Worth every penny.
