PG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II A.E.U.G. (Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam)

Following the PG Wing 0 Custom released in 2000, Bandai did not sit idly by and so they created this masterpiece - the Perfect Grade Gundam Mk-II!

Let's start with the package - in a word - huge! Over 739 parts on 30 trees of injection moulded and ABS plastic. 2 books - one on the construction and one on the history of the mech with colour art. A very large press-on marking sheet that is unbelievably detailed.

The skeleton of this kit is amazing. Made from ABS plastic and fully articulated with all the hydraulic pistons moulded in metal-like chrome. This skeleton system is similar to that found in the new MG G Gundam kit and is very sturdy without the tendency to slip like in earlier kits. The covering armour is totally removable and easily attached.

All parts are pre-coloured and like all other PG kits, it simply snaps and screws together. However, painting of the parts will greatly enhance the appearance.

As this is a relatively complex model kit from the early 2000s, we do not recommend it for beginners. But for seasoned builders, this is a perfect kit to add to the collection!
