The VF-4 Lightning III, the successor to the VF-1 Valkyrie, as seen in the OVA "Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012," is being re-released in Bandai's "HI-METAL R" series in a special package with illustrations by "Macross F" character designer Risa Ebata! Made with plenty of die-cast part for quality, the Lightning III can reproduce all three stages of transformation -- Fighter, Battroid and Gerwalk.
