Kotobukiya launches its Frame Arms Girl Grande Scale action-figure model-kit series with the impressive Gourai, scaled up to 1/6 size.
Based on the acclaimed Frame Arms Girl Gourai Kai Ver. 2, this enlarged model, designed by Yanase Takayuki and Shimada Fumikane, reworks the original CAD data to deliver a larger-scale experience. The kit offers enhanced ease of assembly, painting, and play, making it ideal for hobbyists seeking the unique benefits of a bigger model.
Gourai includes three interchangeable face parts: a forward-facing expression, a right-facing look, and a serious visage. Five sets of PVC hands are provided, including large weapon-holding hands in standard 1/6-scale doll size, allowing her to wield guns, swords, and other accessories. Adaptor parts convert 5mm-diameter holes to 3mm, enabling compatibility with weapons from M.S.G and other Kotobukiya plastic model series. A knife with a 5mm convex shaft holder is also included.
Engineered for dynamic posing, Gourai boasts an extensive range of motion, particularly in her hip joints, thighs, and skirt. The shin can tilt forward using a pull-out joint within the shoe parts, and the thigh armour slides up and down to enhance flexibility. Decals for eyes, markings, and other details complete the kit, ensuring a polished finish.
